In more than 35 years, SSTN acquired a huge international experience, working in several countries across EU, US, Africa, Middle East and Far East.
1978
SSTN was born. Founded by Eng. Alessandro Sommella, to provide the Maritime Industry with independent enginnering & survey services.
Early 80's
Capt. Antonio Sommella, after a half century long career as Master of Commercial Vessels, transterred to the Firm the huge experience acquired at sea.
2006
Eng. Federico Sommella joined SSTN, widening the range of activities and technologies.
2012
SSTN's Quality Management System certified by BUREAU VERITAS according to ISO 9001 standards; Customized ERP technologies implemented.
2013
Signed a Cooperation Partnership with GL Noble Denton and moved to the new representative offices in the hearth of Genoa.
2014
Increased operative resources, high quality NDT services implemented. SSTN certified as authorized RINA and ABS service supplier.
2016
Signed Cooperation Partnership with CLEVER SYNERGY and I0s App CLEVER SURVEY released.
